About This Product

CouchGuard® Fabric Protector is a non toxic, commercial grade, water based stain shield treatment suitable for micro suedes, nylon, polypropylene, wool and other fibres that are not affected by water. With built in red stain blockers and its high quality repellant for water, grime and oil it enables messes to be removed easily before permanent staining occurs.

How To Use This Product

CouchGuard® Fabric Protection Directions, 250ml and 500ml:

1 Evenly mist spray CouchGuard® Fabric Protector onto selected area.

2 Allow to dry the repeat once using a different spary pattern to maximise even coverage.

CouchGuard® Fabric Protection Directions 1.5lt Mega Kit:

1 If the couches are on timber or tiled floors, place a drop sheet or old towels around to protect the floor coverings. (not supplied)

2 Pump up the spray bottle provided.

3 Testing on a cloth or towel, adjust the fan width by turning the yellow adjustor on the spray bottle. You want a wide even mist.

4 Evenly spray CouchGuard® Fabric Protector onto the couch in one direction. DO NOT over wet.

5 Pump the spray bottle regularly during the application process.

6 Allow to flash off then repeat once using a different spary pattern to maximise even coverage.

FAQ's

Q. Is there an odour with your protection?

A. No. Its none toxic. Our Fabric Protection Spray is water based not solvent based.

Q. How long does it take to dry?

A. Generally 1 or so hours depending on the weather. The warmer the day, the quicker it will dry. You should never over wet the fabric and allow each coat to flash off before appling the next.

Q. Can I put this on my couch after its been steam cleand?

A. Defenintly. Just let the couch almost dry after the steam clean then apply as per the directions.

Q. I went to the Warricks page and can' find the care label?

A. You need to select a care label from the drop down list ie "Care Label 1" then press the Go button.

Q. What is the mixing ratio?

A. Our Fabric Protection comes R.T.U. (ready to use). There is no mixing required.

Q. What's the difference between Scotch guard and your Couchguard?

A. CouchGuard Fabric Protection is waterbased, non toxic and contains no harmful cheimcals were as Scotchguard is a solvent so its flamble and contains chemicals now deamed to be unsafe. Scotchguard™ or Scotchgard™ is also a registed trademark and just a well known brand.
