The Okin Battery Pack 2550mAh has an internal charging board which means the standard recliner power supply is all that is need to recharge the power pack.
Just like the Okin Battery Pack 1800mAh, it can be used inline with any lift chair or electric recliner with the 0l plug, for when the mains power fails or as an off the grid solution such as no power point in the middle of the room for your electric recliner.
To install this battery pack, simply disconnect the 0l extension lead from your current power supply and plug this in. Thats the lead that runs to the chair from the power supply. Please see additional image. (All parts are sold separately)
All you need to do is compare your plug to our industry standard 0l (oh one) plug in the image and yes the battery pack will fit your brand of recliner.

Description
Okin Battery Pack
The 2550mAh Battery Pack has protection measures builtin such as LED charge status indicator and an audible warning signal when there is a low residual charge. Several safety functions are also on board, including electronic overload cut-off, a short-circuit and deep discharge protection.
Over Charge
Power pack shutoff automatically, when the charging voltage of the integrated power pack is higher than 29.7V±0.3V, or the charging voltage of battery cell is higher than 4.25V,LED turns green. Power pack stops charging.Â
Over Discharge Â
When the discharging voltage of integrated power pack is lower than 18V±0.5V,or when the voltage of any one of battery cell is lower than 2.5V, power pack will shut down automatically.Â
Over CurrentÂ
The max output instant current of power pack is between 14A and 20A, if over this range, power pack will cut off immediately. When return to normal loading, Power pack can recover after cool down and recharge.Â
Short Circuit
Power Pack will cut off at once, when Power Pack short circuit. It will protect the electrical equipment and itself not to be damaged by over current. Power pack can recover once faulty released and charge in advance.Â
LED LIGHTS – USB – TOUCH SENSOR BUTTONS?
No battery is going to last long when the LED is glowing 24/7. Same as leaving your car lights on! You’d be charging it daily. This includes backlit switches. They have LEDS too.
Touch sensor buttons draw an continuous current. A very small amount but enough to drain the battery quicker then a standard switch.

Whats the difference between the KDDY022 & KDDY022A Battery?
A. The KDDY022 uses the 6pin adaptor plus seperate charger to charge. This is because these batteries are generally mounted up under the recliner. The KDDY022A uses the recliners original power supply to charge.The motor in my lift chair measures 400mm. Will this kit still fit?
A. Yes. You just need to edge the motor out to the desired length then fit the remaining clevis pin.
We have a Pride lift chair that the motor has stopped working in. Will this kit fit?
Yes. We have made this kit universal so makes and models don't come into play as you are replacing the complete electrics with the latest on the market. Just check the overall length of the motor is no shorter then ours.
My recliners have LED and USB connection in them. Which battery pack is suitable?
The Okin Battery Pack 1800 is designed for an inline back up. This means it connects between the power supply now and the chair. Power goes out, you wouldn’t even know it, even with the LED and USB connected. This battery pack is still the best option if you’r planning on using it a s standalone unit and would last up to 3 months before charging is required with NO LED.
Both are not suitable IF you’r planning on using them as  a standalone power source.

Do I require a separate charger to recharge the battery pack?
No. The 1800mAh Power Pack has an inbuilt charging board which means you use you standard recliner power supply to charge it. The 1300mAh comes with its own seperate charger.
My motor says its 24V. Will this power supply still be ok?
Yes. All recliner chair motors are 24V or 25V and use the 29V power supply.
How do I know my plug is the same size?
These plugs are worldwide, industry standard 0l plugs. One size. When you look at the male plug end it looks like zero (O) and a one ( l ) hence why its called the oh one plug.
How to get out of a power recliner when the power goes out?
All you need is one of our battery back up for power recliners. We have two options. The best option is the 1800mAh Battery Pack which is an inline solution. Always on charge and kicks in automatically when the power goes out.
